Operational Excellence has been critical in tackling and reducing causes for production stops. This has been done by taking a systematic approach for production processes, root-cause analyses, and competence building, supported by digital tools and improved ways of working. 

For Yara, we strive to create an operating model with minimal interruption and strongly believe a reliable plant should have few or no unplanned stops. When this is realized, it results in higher efficiency, produces higher volumes, is more resilient, and has better product quality.
